Dear Momma, You are appreciated.

I talked to mom and we both decided that if someone asked me, "What's the one thing your mom has taught you?" My answer would simply be: To Pray. And if someone were to ask her, "What will you leave your children behind?" Her answer would be: The greatest gift on Earth; Jesus Christ.
Going into surgery I felt scared, nervous, and alone. The first thing I remembered to do was to just close my eyes and pray. It was like an on switch. It felt natural. Still, at 6:00 in the morning I was praying to be able to call my mom so that she can calm me down with prayer. If it's one thing that woman knows is how to say a good prayer <3
I've come to the conclusion that if it wasn't for my mother I probably wouldn't know Jesus like I do. Sure I used to go with Dad and Corinna in Alabama, but with my mom it's genuine and it's always been constant. For that reason alone I praise the Lord for giving me such an irreplaceable mother. xx
